    • Trouble shoot customer concern. Technician verified codes for timing. Removed timing cover and verified timing chains stretched out. Removed and replaced timing chain kit. During installation technician verified fuel in oil. Removed high injection pump and verified fuel entering system through cam shaft passage. Removed and replaced fuel injection pump. Removed and replaced water pump due to bearing play. Replenished with new coolant , engine oil and oil filter. Road tested and verified vehicle running good.

    • ENGINE OIL & FILTER – INSPECT – [Check engine oil level and oil life percentage. Change engine oil and filter, if needed.] EVAP EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM – INSPECT – [Check all fuel and vapor lines and hoses for proper hook-up, routing, and condition. Check that the purge valve, if the vehicle has one, works properly. Replace as needed.] AIR CLEANER/ELEMENT – REPLACE – [Replace every 45000 miles or every 48 months, which ever comes first.] AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID – REPLACE – [Replace fluid when vehicle is driven under any of these conditions: Mainly driven in heavy city traffic in hot weather. Mainly driven in hilly or mountainous terrain. Frequently towing a trailer. Used for high speed or competitive driving. Used for taxi, police, or delivery service.] CABIN AIR FILTER – REPLACE – [Replace the cabin air filter at 22500 miles or every 24 months, whichever occurs first. More frequent replacement may be needed if you drive in areas with heavy traffic, areas with poor air quality, or areas with high dust levels. Replacement may also be needed if you notice reduced air flow, windows fogging up, or odors.] TRANSFER CASE FLUID – REPLACE – [Replace fluid when vehicle is driven under any of these conditions: Mainly driven in heavy city traffic in hot weather. Mainly driven in hilly or mountainous terrain. Frequently towing a trailer. Used for high speed or competitive driving. Used for taxi, police, or delivery service. Do not directly power wash the transfer case output seals. High pressure water can overcome the seals and contaminate the transfer case fluid. Contaminated fluid will decrease the life of the transfer case and should be replaced.] OIL LIFE MONITOR – RESET – [Reset the system at every oil and filter change. If the system is ever reset accidentally, the oil must be changed at 3000 miles since the last oil change To reset the Engine Oil Life System: Turn the ignition to ON/RUN with the engine off. Press the DIC menu button on the turn signal lever to enter the Vehicle Information Menu. Use the thumbwheel to scroll through the menu items until you reach REMAINING OIL LIFE. Press the SET/CLR button to reset the oil life at 100%. Turn the ignition to LOCK/OFF. The system is reset when the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message is off and the REMAINING OIL LIFE 100% message is displayed. If the CHANGE ENGINE OIL message comes back on when the vehicle is started, the engine oil life system has not been reset. Repeat the procedure.] TIRES – ROTATE – [Tires should be rotated every 7500 miles. Check tire pressure, damage and tread depth.]
