Trouble shoot customer concern. Verified Transmission torque converter slipping. Inspected transmission fluid and verified fluid had evidence of metal shavings in it. Recommended changing transmission. Removed and replaced transmission. Flushed transmission cooling lines. Topped of with Dexron Vl transmission fluid. Reprogrammed transmission control module. Road tested and verified good. Transmission has a 3year 100K mile warranty.

Trouble shoot customer concern. Verified codes p0121 and cylinder misfire Cylinder #7 ,low oil pressure and brake cirucit high. Verified oil level low. Technician verified oil leaking from oil pan gasket and rear main seal. Will reschedule with customer. Added 1.5 qts oil. Verified sway bar links broken. Removed and replaced sway bar links. Removed #7 cylinder spark plug and verified spark plug cracked. REmoved and replaced all spark plugs. Removed throttle body to performed cleaning. Performed idle relearn calibration. Verified brake switch would not pass voltage to safety neutral switch. Removed and replaced brake switch. Verified cruise control good. Road tested good.

Trouble shoot customer concern. Ran diagnostic trouble codes. Verified codes p0300 for multiple misfire detected. Technician verified cylinder 7 and 8 misfire on live data. Verified spark to both cylinders. Tested ignition coils, spark plugs, and ignition wires good. Performed compression tested and verified good. Removed intake to perform manual activation test on Engine valve lifter oil manifold for DOD system. Verified Cylinder #7 stuck open. Removed valve covers and verified all push rods opening and closing valves. Removed rocker arms and verified Cylinder #8 spring broken. Re installed all parts. Installed new cylinder deactivation valve lifter oil manifold. Installed new intake manifold gasket, exhaust gasket, valve cover gasket, oil filter and oil. Used 5w30 synthetic oil. Road tested and verified customer concern did not return.
